Our story

Established in 1979, in collaboration with one of Calcutta’s well-known manufacturers of Indian sweets and savouries, Gupta Confectioners has become a familiar name in the UK when looking for delicious “Mithai” and “Namkeen”. Using the finest ingredients and authentic recipes, dating back from generations, we provide traditional, exquisite confectioneries and delicious Indian snacks including our famous Samosas, Kachoris and Imli Chutney.

From our three retail outlets, based in North and Central London, we have branched out into event catering and have organised and catered for countless events including weddings, birthdays, corporate soirées and formal balls. Apart from our quality of food and service we strive to impress with our visual creativity. Whatever your catering needs, we are pleased to offer you catering solutions tailored to meet your specific requirements, which comply with yours and our high expectations.

More recently, we have ventured into the dynamic world of Street Food, launching “Mr Bombay”, where we have had an overwhelming response. We have participated at some of the UK’s largest music festivals as well as being involved in some of the most vibrant markets in London and beyond.
